This project helps international students in their first year to learn about Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), its operations and student life from experienced students (buddies). It also focuses on helping the buddies make international contacts and grow personally.

Time lineThe PAARS (PURPLE) campaign calls on everyone at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) to wear the colour purple on the 17th of May, the international day against homophobia and transphobia (IDAHOT), to show students that they can be themselves at AUAS and to create awareness about LGBTI+ issues.

Time lineAccess courses are one year long, part-time courses designed to prepare learners, who may not have formal qualifications, for successful study at university. These are Special Purpose Awards (Level 6) which equip students with the skills and confidence required to take the next step to selected degree courses at UCD.
